This post is long overdue! Sorry! These are our pics from our trip to New Orleans before Christmas with Nest, Danny, me, Charlie, Jason, and David. We went to the spa and had a blast! Best massage ever! We ate at Emeril's restaurant NOLA? I think that's what it was called, but it was awesome! I gained 10 pounds on that trip! Here are the pics! Goofing off on Bourbon St.

Charlie and David spent most of their time in the casino where I told Santa everything on my Christmas list while playing the video games! Santa really is everywhere :)

It's been snowing in DC! Here are some pics I took with my cell phone as I walked to catch the bus! It's been snowing all day!

This past New Year's, during the countdown to 2009, my best friend in the whole wide world the lovely, Miss Amanda Catherine McGrevey (aka Mandy) got engaged to her now fiance Surya G. They are both in law school at Ole Miss (Hotty Toddy gosh almighty who the hell we is..that's the Shirley Q Liquor version) and are getting married on Labor Day weekend this year (a day after we get back from Canada) and I'm the Maid of Honor! I'm so excited! Thank god Mandy isn't doing gold dresses anymore:) Sorry chicka, had to talk you out of that disastrous color...only Beyonce looks good in gold...and leprauchans (how do you spell that???) So she's decided on perhaps a blue color or wine i think. See pic above. The best part of the dress is that it has pockets! Amazing, good job Mandy!

Christmas craziness in Mississippi

Our next stop was home to Mississippi! It was relaxing the first few days we were there because we went to New Orleans and went to the spa, but Aunt Cara, Sommer, and Celine came to visit that Monday and it was a full house! Before we went to see my dad, Charlie's mom Cindy and his sister Anna came to visit and bring us our presents! We had a blast touring DC, but the Holocaust museum kinda put a damper on the day...can we say DEPRESSING?? Anyways, on a happier note we have lots of Halloween decorations for our party next year thanks to them:) We ate dinner at The Palm one night and it was really good!
